For a second consecutive year SynField was used by our client in a potato crop at Armenoi of Sitia, Lassithi Prefecture in Crete.
The installation consists of a SynField Head Node that drives a weather station that records real-time climatic conditions such as temperature and relative air humidity, rain height and wind speed/direction and an EC5 soil moisture sensor indicating the needs for irrigation in the crop.
This installation is controlled by the SynField Cloud platform allowing visualization of climatic conditions, agricultural indicators, historical data as well as the management of automated rules and alerts.
