SynAir Air Quality Monitoring System

SynAir is a professional air quality measurement and monitoring system developed by Synelixis, designed for smart cities, agricultural and livestock applications, and environmental monitoring.

Using appropriate sensors, SynAir can monitor the following environmental parameters and air pollutants:

  • Ammonia (NH₃)
  • Barometric pressure
  • Carbon dioxide (CO₂)
  • Carbon monoxide (CO)
  • Ethanol (C₂H₅OH)
  • Particulate matter (PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10)
  • Methane (CH₄)
  • Nitrogen dioxide (NO₂)
  • Nitrous oxide (N₂O)
  • Oxygen (O₂)
  • Ozone (O₃)
  • Relative humidity
  • Sulfur dioxide (SO₂)
  • Temperature

How the Air Quality Monitoring System Works

The SynAir device features:

  • 1 port for a CO₂ sensor
  • 1 port for a particulate matter (PM) sensor
  • 6 ports for NDIR gas sensors
  • 6 ports for electrochemical gas sensors
  • Integrated fan

Each SynAir device:

  • Extends the capabilities of the integrated SynField solution, enabling air quality monitoring and calculation of the Air Quality Index (AQI).
  • Has been specifically designed for wired connection to SynField X3 and X5 telemetry head nodes.

Air Quality Monitoring through the SynField Platform

  • Measurements of air quality parameters are collected by the SynAir device and transmitted to the SynField cloud platform through a SynField node. This provides continuous access to your data, wherever you are.
  • Through the SynField cloud platform, users can configure and manage alerts and receive notifications via SMS and email

Air Quality Monitoring for Smart Cities, Agriculture and Livestock Facilities

Air Quality Monitoring in Smart Cities

Continuous air quality monitoring is an important tool for managing the urban environment and developing Smart City applications. SynAir can be installed at selected locations across the urban environment to monitor environmental parameters and air pollutants.

Measurements are transmitted to the SynField platform, enabling remote monitoring and historical analysis of air quality across different areas of a city. The collected data can support the identification of areas with elevated pollution levels, monitoring of air pollution trends, and data-driven decision-making aimed at improving the urban environment.

Air Quality Monitoring in Agriculture and Greenhouses

Monitoring microclimate conditions and air quality is an important tool for precision agriculture applications and greenhouse crop management. SynAir enables continuous monitoring of environmental parameters, as well as additional gases and particulate matter.

Measurements are transmitted to the SynField cloud platform, enabling remote monitoring and analysis of crop environmental conditions. The collected data can support the early identification of microclimate changes and data-driven decisions regarding plant growing conditions, contributing to more effective management of agricultural and greenhouse facilities.

Air Quality Monitoring in Livestock Facilities

SynAir enables the monitoring of parameters such as temperature and relative humidity, as well as the measurement of gas concentrations and air pollutants.

Measurements are transmitted to the SynField cloud platform, enabling remote monitoring and analysis of environmental conditions. Automated alerts can also be configured when measured parameters exceed predefined thresholds, supporting timely intervention and more effective management of environmental conditions within livestock facilities.
