An extremely interesting presentation took place on Sunday, September 7, 2025 to producers in the Municipality of Trifylia, in Messinia, discussing the capabilities and benefits of SynField precision agriculture solution which brings cutting-edge technology to the real needs of producers. During the speech, Panagiotis Athanasoulis presented the ways in which SynField can enhance the efficiency and sustainability of the crop.
The ability to continuously monitor climatic and soil conditions, and in particular the soil moisture readings in the irrigation zones enables the producer to irrigate remotely automatically, when and as much as needed, through SynField, saving water and energy. Also, the collection of microclimate data helps in the early detection of conditions favorable to diseases and pests, allowing for timely and targeted intervention. Finally, with the rational planning of cultivation care, unnecessary interventions and waste in supplies and man-hours are reduced.
The interaction with the audience during the presentation highlighted the interest and growing need for innovation in the agricultural sector – a need that can be effectively met through practical, flexible and accessible solutions such as SynField.
