SynField proudly participated in the recent two-day STRATUS Cross Visit, held on May 28–29, 2026, at the Agricultural University of Athens. Organized by the host university, the event brought together stakeholders, researchers, and agricultural experts to explore innovative technologies and smart solutions for modern farming.
The main focus of the event was the practical use of soil moisture sensors to optimize irrigation practices, improve soil moisture management, and support healthier crop growth and nutrient absorption.
During the Cross Visit, SynField presented its integrated smart agriculture and irrigation solution, showcasing the wide range of benefits and capabilities it offers for modern agricultural production and urban green management. Mr. Panagiotis Athanasoulis, Lead Software Engineer at Synelixis, delivered an insightful presentation on SynField’s smart agriculture technologies and applications.
Participants had the opportunity to closely explore the SynField product family, interact with the team, and discuss practical applications and future possibilities for precision agriculture.
Overall, the STRATUS Cross Visit proved to be an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and strengthening collaboration among key stakeholders.
