Synelixis has developed the head nodes SynField X2, SynField X3, SynField X5, as well as the peripheral nodes SynOdos and SynNano. Each node supports sensors and/or automation systems, enabling real-time monitoring of field conditions and remote control of your agricultural operation.

A typical example includes monitoring soil moisture at one or multiple locations and remotely controlling one or more irrigation (latching) electrovalves to automate irrigation management. The nodes are essential for transferring sensor data to the SynField cloud platform and for sending commands from the platform to the automation systems.

The head nodes have direct internet connectivity and communicate directly with the SynField cloud platform. In large-scale agricultural deployments, peripheral nodes are installed to create a wireless network of nodes, extending the capabilities of smart agriculture and smart irrigation solutions. Communication between the head and peripheral nodes is wireless, with the head node acting as the communication gateway and control hub for the peripheral nodes.
