The SynField precision agriculture system was installed for the first time in an African country. The SynField node was placed in, Ibadan, Nigeria, in order to monitor and record the environmental and soil conditions prevailing in the area. The data that is collected from the sensors is being sent to the SynField web platform. Thus, the user can access the data 24/7, no matter where they are.

The robust design and the proven durability of the system makes SynField ideal even for the harsh conditions prevailing in the African continent. Furthermore, SynField is an energy-autonomous system, with integrated solar panel and large capacity rechargeable battery, which makes it capable of operating continuously for very long periods of time.

SynField precision agriculture systems will be installed in 6 African countries (Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Cameroon, and Nigeria) extended the SynField network to 3 continents (Europe, Asia and Africa).
