The SynField smart agriculture system has been installed in a cultivation area in the outskirts of Zalenieki, Latvia. The installation includes a meteorological station and a soil temperature and humidity sensor. The meteorological station records the ambient temperature, relative humidity, wind intensity, wind direction and rainfall. SynField provides the capability to monitor and record the environmental and soil conditions prevailing in the area. The data collected by the sensors are periodically sent to the SynField platform, where the user can access the information and supervise the conditions in the area, wherever they are, whenever they wish.

SynField smart agriculture systems have already been installed in several European countries such as Spain, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Finland, and Serbia, with more expected to be added in the near future. The SynField network continues to expand, both in Europe and Africa.
